Pandit Madhup Mudgal

Pandit Madhup Mudgal is an Indian Hindustani classical vocalist. He received his early training from his father, Vinay Chandra Maudgalya, who belonged to the Gwalior Gharana. Subsequently, he also learned from renowned classical vocalists such as Pandit Vasant Thakar, Pandit Jasraj and Kumar Gandharva. He is an accomplished composer as well and he has been the principal of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi since 1995. He was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri award from the Government of India in 2006.
