Bhai Gam

 

 

At present, limited biographical information is available on Bhai Gam Ji. According to the author Balbir Singh Kanwal, Bhai Gam Ji served as a Hazoori Raagi at Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore, for nearly forty years. A document listing the disciples of Bhai Roora Ji places Bhai Gam Ji’s name at the top. Additionally, based on a radio schedule we have located, Bhai Gam Ji also performed a dilruba recital in Raag Desh on All India Radio, further demonstrating his recognition as a musician.
