The ‘jatha’ of Bhai Gurdyal Singh Ji consisted of his brothers, which included Bhai Kirpal Singh Ji as well. They lived in Harinagar, New Delhi and performed Kirtan duties in Gurdwara Sees Ganj Sahib regularly. Their style was reminiscent of the late Bhai Santa Singh Ji and they became very popular among the ‘Sangat’ of Delhi.
