Bibi Karamjit Kaur hails from a family deeply rooted in the rich tradition of Gurbani Kirtan, being closely related to the renowned Bhai Charanjit Singh Ji of Patiala. She is the younger granddaughter of Bhai Gurcharan Singh and Bibi Lachhmi Kaur of Kheri Sahib, with Bibi Lachhmi Kaur being the eldest sister of Bhai Charanjit Singh Ji. She is the beloved daughter of Sardar Dalbir Singh, and she has carried forward her family\u2019s legacy of dedication to Kirtan with sincerity and devotion.<\/p>\n
From a young age, Bibi Karamjit Kaur was drawn to the kirtan of Bhai Charanjit Singh Ji. At just seven years old, she began following his Kirtan with deep interest. Her two elder brothers were already training under Bhai Sahib Ji at his academy in Patiala, and soon, Bibi Karamjit Kaur also formally became his student. A naturally gifted and quick learner, she displayed remarkable dedication, quickly adopting Bhai Sahib Ji\u2019s signature Kirtan style with precision and grace.<\/p>\n
Her commitment to \u2018Sewa\u2019 and her growing skill as a Kirtaniya led her to perform on various stages. Notably, just before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, she served six months at Dadar Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Mumbai, where her spiritually uplifting Kirtan deeply moved the Sangat. Bibi Karamjit Kaur continues to grow as a humble yet accomplished Kirtaniya, walking the path laid by her elders and guided by the blessings of Guru Sahib.<\/p>\n
